July 2, 2009: 

  • The Rally Doodle Dandy game-day baseball exclusive Beanie Baby was given out today! Ty has not officially introduced it though. This is one of the few Beanies that become "current" and "retired" on the same day! It is popping up on eBay though and the price range is around $25-$40. Prices have seemed to decrease for game-day exclusives in the past few years.

  • David has sent us an email about a new web site he has created! It focuses on the new Teenie Beanie promotion coming out this July! Visit the site here!

Wow! It's been a while since I've talked to so many of you. This is David from the Peace Mania Message Board. I wanted to let you all know about a new website that I have put together.

Teenies.peacebears.com is a new page on the Peace Mania website devoted to the 2009 McDonald's Teenie Beanies, which are the first Teenies since 2004. The new Teenies will be released July 14, and until then I will be reporting news and information about the McDonald's Teenies on that page.

I plan to keep things fresh and fun, so check back often or sign up for the mailing list, which will keep you up-to-date about what's going on! Also, I have added two new boards to this forum with Teenie-related themes for collectors to talk about this latest Happy Meal promotion.

I hope you come and check out teenies.peacebears.com, and I hope to hear from some of you soon!

  • It looks like the rumor was true after all as Ty now has a countdown on his main page that tells us when the Teenie Beanies will be arriving at McDonalds! July 17th is the expected launch date! It looks like the Teenies will be modeled mostly after the Beanies 2.0 with possibly a few surprises!

  • Ty has removed the MasterCard promotion link from his old homepage. It was on the banner on the right side of the page before he took it off. The 3 M.C. Beanies are still listed as current on the Ty Lists though so be sure to use up your points on your MasterCard incase he cancels the promotion. If it is the end of the M.C. Beanies; we will miss them greatly!

  • Ms. Janie provides an update correcting the rumor of the Teenie Beanies at McDonalds. Apparently it was a mistake and they will not be coming out this July. It was an old link that was mistaken for a new one. Let us only hope Ty sees how excited we got and considers making more!

Last night Sly shared a link into a press release that we both believed to be current. Hungry for any NEW Ty news, we both jumped on it and wanted to share it as quickly as possible.

Since then, it has been discovered that the link was posted back in 2000 and represented an older Teenie Beanie release.

Sly and I sincerely apologize. It was not our intent to confuse you, we were just trying to provide news.

  • Doodle's Page has received more breaking news! First, the new Ty Line: Beanie Boos will be coming to retailers in the US in the middle of July! They are noted to be limited in shipments! Also, there are New Teenie Beanies coming this July at McDonalds! There are rumored to be about 30 different pieces! This would be Ty's first US Teenie Beanie promotion since 2004. It's good to see them back! Thanks to JC and CindysBeans for sharing!
